How long do you usually chat before meeting in person? | Forum

I think it really depends on the connection and how comfortable both people feel. I usually prefer chatting for a little while first — enough to understand someone’s personality, interests, and communication style — but I also think meeting in person is important because chemistry can be different offline. A few days to a couple of weeks of good conversation feels like a good balance for me. The most important thing is not rushing, but also not staying online forever without taking the next step.
